Pyrana (Zeroth Agents, Inc.) builds the enterprise agentic application platform: identity, authorization, storage, orchestration, approvals, and audit built once, with applications configured on top. The founders come from enterprise IT and operations in regulated industries.

01Origin

A platform, not a vertical.

Pyrana started about a year and a half ago from a platform perspective rather than vertical AI. The founders come from enterprise IT and operations, where the layer under any business application, identity, authorization, approvals, and audit, is the part that takes the longest and gets reviewed the hardest. The first product was an orchestration platform: durable workflows that fan out, wait, retry, and finish.

The application layer followed. Orchestration on its own does not produce an application; the identity, the authorization, the approvals, the audit, and the knowledge have to exist before the first agent is useful, and they have to be shared before the second application is cheap. Today the platform is Agentic Apps defined as configuration, the Pyrana Harness to run the work, and cortIQ to hold the knowledge. Pyrana is in production with enterprise clients in regulated industries.

02Three things we believe

The application is the unit.

An agentic application is a full-stack business application in which people and agents work over the same pages, data, knowledge, and outputs, under one identity, one authorization model, and one audit record. An agent on its own is a mechanism inside it, not the deliverable.

Build the platform once.

Identity, authorization, storage, orchestration, approvals, and audit sit under every application. Built once, generically, they are inherited by every application after it. An application is configuration on top: one App configuration plus the frontend experience.

Knowledge is curated, not dumped.

Company knowledge is held as typed, classified, evidence-backed Context Units, each identified by a content hash of claim and evidence. Changes are gated by classification, superseded rather than overwritten, and scored from use. Every run accounts for what it retrieved, injected, and cited.

03How we work

The first App is delivered jointly.

Pyrana defines the process with the client, writes the access profiles and the approval policy, loads the documents that matter into cortIQ, and runs the App in production with real identities and a real record. The identity model, the profiles, the lanes, and the record then carry to the second App and every one after it.
